| The new model 7-8 is a full frame, mid- large arbor style Teton USA Classic fly reel and comes in a protective neoprene case. This reel is Black in color with an off white logos, USA Made and comes with care and operating instructions. This reel was produced by Teton USA. It is made of the finest materials with the same mechanical features of the earlier Teton and Tioga Reels. Teton USA purchased the rights to the reel after the original Teton Co.in Ca. went out of business in 2009. The new 7/8 model is the same size as the old original #8 or #8-10 Teton Reel. 3.75 inches in diameter, 7.6 ounces in weight. It will hold a WF 7F line with 150 yards of 20 pound backing. With a WF 8F line it will hold 125 yards of 20 pound backing. The reel is easily convertible from left or right hand retrieve, instructions included. All reels are shipped LH retrieve unless requested otherwise. The reel retrieve handle is hand polished epoxy impregnated Dymond wood for years of maintenance free service.
