| The Speyco 3.5 " Spey Trout fly reel is designed for micro spey rods and light switch rods or 7/8 single handed rods. The concept of swinging up large trout utilizing 3/4 and 5 wt double handed rods has grown in popularity in the last few years and not without reason tossing big streamers in heavy winds on large rivers is more than cumbersome using the transitional short 9 foot 6 wt rod.
