Everything you could ask for in a Big-Game Fly Reel: Ultra LARGE-ARBOR, super-strong yet lightweight machined aircraft aluminum, butter smooth operation, completely sealed and unbelievably powerful multi-layer Sealed Carbon Disc Drag System (SCS), and a numbered drag knob that tells you where you are at a glance. The one revolution drag knob has 40 detents and is numbered 1-20. This visual reference allows you to later go back to the original setting after releasing a fish, or after loosening the drag to let your bonefish outrun a pursuing shark. The drag system is completely sealed, dunking in water won't change the drag setting or allow sand intrusion, and if you're winter salmon/steelhead fishing, the drag will never freeze. Super rigid frame to spool connection, widened palming rim, ergonomic handle, easy right/left hand conversion, quick-change spool mechanism, and vented all over to dry lines out.
