Designed and built for anglers that demand performance at a reasonable price, the Boost 400 is a lightweight reel that will give your seven- or eight-weight the stopping power it needs to bring those big old salmonids to net. With a diameter of four inches, the Boost 400 is capable of picking up 12.5 inches of line per revolution. The reel weighs a light seven ounces, so it won't weigh your rod or casting arm down with a heavy or clunky feel. The Boost is equipped with Cheeky's Rev carbon fiber drag system, which delivers the same durability, tippet protection, and stopping power as Cheeky's more high-end reels. The reel can be quickly switched between left- or right-handed retrieve and features a quick change spool system, which enables anglers to switch out spools easily at either the tailout or tailgate. | |
